Catherine Burke Society
Donors make a difference by impacting the work and mission of Regis College with their support.
The Catherine Burke Society honors alumni and friends who have chosen to support Regis College through a planned gift—ensuring the mission of Regis continues for generations to come. Planned gifts, such as bequests made through a will or trust, are among the most meaningful and flexible ways to make a lasting impact.
Named in honor of Catherine Mary Burke, a member of Regis College's first graduating class in 1931, the Society celebrates her extraordinary legacy of generosity. Catherine was an inaugural member of the Founders Society, established in 1990 to recognize planned giving donors. Through her will, she created the Catherine Burke Endowed Fund by making the largest bequest in the University's history—providing scholarships to more than 1,000 students since 1997 and continuing to transform lives today.
Members of the Catherine Burke Society are recognized during their lifetimes through Regis publications (unless anonymity is requested), receive a signed certificate, and are invited to special events and programs.
